So, why do people want to see results?

The truth is they want promises, they want security, they want to know that investing in you is going to give them a positive result.

They want to know that it’s going to work for them; this time, it’s going to work with them and your strategy is going to take them to the level that they want to get to.

That’s why, whenever I buy something, I always make sure to read either the testimonials or the reviews. Because I want to see what other people’s experience of this service or product is, and then make the calculated decision on whether I want to invest in it or not.

So, if you’re new or if you’ve just launched a product and you don’t have any results, you need to make sure that getting results is your number 1 priority because it’s very rare that you’re going to sell a digital product that you do not have proven results for. But how? How do you actually do that? How do you get results for someone when you don’t have any yet? Do you give it away for free? Do you let people beta test your product? Do you lie? No – you don’t lie. Please, dear God don’t lie! What you have to do, is you have to trial and test the strategies yourself.

Yes, you have to be your first student. That’s how I was able to create Flawless Funnels. I didn’t know anything about sales funnels before that but what I did, was decide to learn about them and then I went and tested the actual strategy. I set up my own funnel and tested the strategy myself. And I got results with it.

So, over time, I realised that this is a viable strategy; it works, it gets results. So, I created my own product out of how I did it. Even though I didn’t have any other people, who had done the course, getting results from it; I had gotten results from it. And so I was able, on my sales page, to put the results that I got from it and that’s why it started selling.

You don’t need a shit load of results to sell a product, you just need one result. One positive result to let it spiral on from there. You have to be your first client, your first customer, your first student, so that you actually know what you’re talking about and can prove to potential customers that you know how to get results in that specific topic.

That’s pretty simple isn’t it? And it might take some time to test the strategies, or you might get results straight away, but the crucial thing that you have to do is you have to be your own student first. You have to trial and test the strategies yourself. You have to be the master of what you’re talking about.
