I’m starting a new series that we will run throughout the year called Law of Assumption 101, that teaches you the core fundamental teachings of law of assumption and how to apply them to your life. This is a work that will completely change everything for you and will fulfil you more than you know.
Listen to the episode:
What is Law of Assumption?
Law of Assumption is what you assume to be true is true or will become true.
Meaning that everything in your life is a reflection of your assumptions. What you see in your 3D reality (this is also known as the physical reality or external reality) is the result of your assumptions. Your entire life is the manifestation of your assumptions.
Essentially, life reflects back to us, ourselves. Therefore, if what’s showing up in your 3D reality isn’t to your satisfaction, you have to change your assumptions.
How you change your assumptions is by deliberate conscious control of your imagination. We use our imagination to change what we assume and perceive about ourselves, about others and about how the world works. Because imagination creates reality. Reality is the external appearance of imagination. It’s what imagination looks like.
For example: Let’s say I am someone who assumes that relationships are difficult, it’s really hard to find a good partner, all the good ones are already taken, and the ones available have issues and never want to commit, I never feel seen, heard or appreciated, my needs are never met and I always end up breaking up with them because I’m unsatisfied. That’s my assumption, therefore it has to push out into my 3D reality and reflect that exact assumption back to me through the experiences I have in my life with men.
How many people have you talked to that have had this exact story about relationships? And how many of them had that exact experience? This is because what you assume is true for you will unfold exactly that way in your 3D reality. That is law.
Now, going back to the example, let’s say I finally decide to change my assumptions about relationships to manifest the type of relationship I really want.
I decide to start assuming that relationships are a breeze, they’re enjoyable and fulfilling, I always meet really incredible single men who are ready for commitment. I always feel chosen, loved, adored, desired and prioritised. My needs are always exceeded. I feel so satisfied in relationships.
If that’s what I begin to assume and I persist in that story, it will harden into fact and reflect back to me in the 3D reality.
Why I Love Law of Assumption
Do you see how it’s all focused on self? That’s what I LOVE about law of assumption.
To manifest anything you change yourself, through how you perceive yourself and what you assume about others and the world. There is nothing outside of you that has any control over you, you are the only one who creates your reality, through your imagination. You are the creator, you are the operant power, you are god of your reality.
And the great thing is you don’t have to think about being in a high vibration to attract your desires (because attracting implies separation), you don’t need to ask the universe for what you want (because you are the creator and god of your reality), you don’t have to feel good all the time or place yourself in elevated emotions to be a match for your desires (because you manifest from the state you assume).
Your only job to manifest anything is to assume the state of the wish fulfilled.
How to Manifest with the Law of Assumption
The way to manifest anything you desire is simply to assume the state of your wish fulfilled. Here’s the formula..
- Clarify The Desire: Define exactly what you want and what the fulfilment of that would look like to you.
- Use Your Imagine: Use imaginal acts to place yourself in the state of the wish fulfilled. Imaginal acts such as visual images, mental sounds and actions that leave you with a feeling of satisfaction that your desire has been fulfilled. What is the scene you want to play out in your 3D reality? Imagine this as you are falling off to sleep.
- Repeat Until Rest: You repeat the process until you enter a state of mental rest, you feel freed of the desire. The subconscious has accepted the imaginal acts and now they will push out into your physical reality.
To put this into an example, that can look like:
You decide you want a new piece of jewellery, you love fine jewellery and find a piece at Tiffanys you absolutely love – a knot shaped bangle that’s $9000 dollars. You don’t have that money to spend on a bangle so you decide you will manifest the bangle. That’s defining exactly what you want.
Next you will create an imaginal act that will imply the fulfilment of your desire. You imagine coming home and unlocking your front door with the Tiffany bag in the other hand, walking into your bedroom and placing the bag on your bed. You imagine reaching your hand into the bag and pulling out the box with your new bangle in it. You open the box, look over the beautiful piece of jewellery that is now yours and slide it onto your wrist. Just as you do your partner walks in the door and you say, “Look what I manifested!” And they say “Wow! Congratulations it’s beautiful!” And then you admire it with complete satisfaction and appreciation.
That’s an entire scene in assuming its done that has visual images, sounds and actions.
And finally, you continue to repeat this imaginal act in your mind until you reach a point where it feels natural and complete. You no longer desire the bangle because you now assume that it is yours.
That’s the final step, now you will see it push out into your 3D reality.
Let’s use another example and instead of manifesting an object you want to manifest a quality within your personality.
You decide that looks like being respected in your work by your boss and your team.
Next, you decide to use an imaginal act with focus on mental sounds and actions. The imagery comes naturally as a result of this.
You decide to use words and affirm to yourself the new assumptions you would like to have about yourself. You’ll say a few things like, “I’m completely respected in the workplace, all my colleagues value my input and my boss listens to my ideas and always considers them. I’m seen as a valuable asset to the company and am always recognised for my efforts and put forward for new promotions and bonuses.
Although there isn’t a specific scene for this, its still an imaginal act using sound/words to assume your desire as fact.
Then you continue to persist in this imaginal act in your mind until you reach a point where it feels natural and complete and you won’t feel the need to continue the imaginal act because it will now be your assumption, and then it will reflect to you in the 3D. Ok?
In terms of how quickly your desire manifests, it depends on your assumptions about the topic. If you have a lot of assumptions that oppose your desire, you likely need more time to work on building new assumptions. If you don’t have a lot of assumptions about the specific desire, it can manifest faster because you have less opposing assumptions. For instance, my book hitting the #1 new release spot for two categories.
Keep in mind this can all happen in a second, a minute, an hour, a day or a month. There is no waiting, once you decide its fact it is done.
To conclude:
Your work is to become the person who naturally has their desires. A person who knows they are the only creator of their reality and therefore assume they get, have and are everything they want, because that version of you already exists within you. Nothing is outside of you.
That my friend is the law of assumption, there is obviously so much more to it which is why I will be doing a series dedicated to the principles of it throughout the year, but this episode is the main one to refer to.
Now, if you got a lot of value out of this post, I’d love it if you could come over to the Girls That Manifest facebook group and share your insights!
