January Income Report: $4084.20

Hey friends! It’s that time of the month again. Are you ready for another income report?

I really just have to say WOW, things stepped up this month and I couldn’t be more happy about it! I have quite a bit to share with you so let’s get going!

WHY SHARE MY INCOME REPORTS?

I started House of Brazen in January 2016 while still working a day job and by March I was already making my first few sales. I was growing more and more unhappy in my job each day and in june I finally quit my job to work on my business full-time.

I should mention that I did this without having any other financial back-up other than my savings and I wasn’t making a liveable amount from my blog yet. Luckily, taking that risk was the best choice I made because I was able to grow my business fast enough that I now make a full-time living from it.

My favourite thing about running my own business is the freedom you get to do what you want with your time, so I share these income reports because I want to help you grow your business and achieve the same freedom in your life so you can spend more time doing the things you love with the people you love.

SO MANY EXPENSES THIS MONTH!!!!! Okay to be fair there’s about $273 dollars that I could have chosen not to spend if I really wanted to save money, but I believe it’s essential to keep investing in your business and yourself if you want to succeed, so I’m not too bothered by it all.

There’s quite a lot that happened in Jan, like the fact that I tripled my income!!! So let’s get straight into what I did to make that happen!

I SET A GOAL TO MAKE $5K PER MONTH

At the start of the year I decided to set an income goal of making $5k a month from my business. I started writing my goal down every day and tracking all of the money and income that I get through my business as well as other sources. This is something I focus heavily on every single day and since I started doing that, more sales have been coming in for my Flawless Funnels and Affiliate Affluence courses. Even my affiliate income has picked up drastically. You can see I didn’t hit $5k this month, but do you think I’m sitting here thinking it isn’t working? No way! I still tripled my flippin’ income this month! So that change in focus is absolutely working.

I STARTED A YOUTUBE CHANNEL

Another goal I wanted to stick to this year was being consistent with my blog and publishing weekly become being more visible by delivering my content on video. This might sound weird but I feel like the more I allow myself to actually BE myself in front of you, the more money I seem to make. Does that make sense? I can’t directly track that, but it feels like being more visible I is increasing my income.

I DID MY FIRST LOT OF AFFILIATE PAYOUTS

Although this seems more like an expense rather than an income generator, it is actually both! This is because my AMAZING affiliates are spreading the love about my How to Make Your First Affiliate Sale in 24 Hours ebook all over social media, on their blogs and to their audiences! They’re getting my ebook out there further than I could have and it shows because I made over $800 alone from this ebook in Jan which is significantly higher than any previous month! I know it might not make sense because the payout this month was $15.20 but you’ll see next month how much that quantum leaped. (And if you wanna join my affiliate program, go here!)

I INVESTED IN TWO BIG PROGRAMS

There are two women I have wanted to work with FOREVER but their programs were always way too expensive to invest in at the time. So last year I put out a message to the universe that I wanted a way to work with both of these women in 2017 to uplevel my mindset and business. Guess what happened? Both women came out with an affordable option for both of their programs ON THE SAME DAY!!!

How’s that for irony? And clearly it was meant to happen!

I believe that you have to surround yourself with the people who have what you want, and if they’re not in your current social circle then you have to go out and find them. Jim Rohn says “You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with,” and it’s absolutely true. In fact, Emily even asked our Facebook Group why we joined in the first place and my answer completely reinforced where I want to take myself.
