In 2012, I put Singapore down on my bucket list on Pinterest because I fell in LOVE with pictures of Gardens by the Bay.
I wanted to see the Super Tree Grove, Cloud Forest and Flower Dome with my own eyes!
In 2017, I had the opportunity to FINALLY travel there.
I was living only 2 hours away in Bali at the time and I needed to do a visa run. It seemed like the stars had finally aligned and I’d get to see the gardens!!
Except I didn’t go..
The truth is I didn’t feel I was at the level I wanted to be to go to Singapore yet.
I wanted to do Singapore in STYLE.
I wanted to feel RICH when I was there.
I wanted to be like those Crazy Rich Asians – minus the psycho Mother-in-Law to be. 🤣
My business was growing rapidly. I could have afforded it. BUT, I wasn’t doing the vibrational work along with it and so there was a huge gap between my desire and my mindset.
I hadn’t been keeping up my money mindset work while my income was increasing.
I hadn’t worked on raising my energetic minimum.
I didn’t feel aligned.
I didn’t feel “rich” yet.
This was a classic symptom of self-sabotage.
A little bit gutted, I put Singapore on hold and went to Kuala Lumpur instead. All the while knowing that I would definitely get to Singapore soon.
Fast forward a year and I found myself back in Bali again needing to do a visa run.
But this time, I’d done A LOT more money mindset work.
This time, I’d raised my energetic minimum.
This time, I WAS aligned.
And I was ready. Ready to GO BIG and do Singapore the way I fucking wanted to!
And this is how I did it:
- Booked 3 nights at SO Sofitel
- Booked private cabs both to and from the airport
- Had the concierge plan my city exploration for me
- Drank umpteen cocktails at their roof top bar
- Ordered tons of room service and watched movies
- Added on a buffet breakfast every morning
- Swam in the rooftop pool, ordered cocktails and worked poolside
- Did a little shopping at the Marina Bay Sands
- VISITED THE GARDENS BY THE BAY!!!!
And that was EXACTLY how I wanted that trip to go. That’s EXACTLY how I wanted to feel!
EXPANSIVE, NEXT-LEVEL AND ABUNDANT AF!
