Selling can be a really beautiful exchange. It do Selling can be a really beautiful exchange. It does not have to be an anxiety-inducing emotional roller coaster that we know it can be. Our experience with what we sell and how we sell it always begins and ends with us. Years ago when I would prepare for a launch, I’d feel enormous guilt and anxiety for selling my offer. “It’ll be a flop. No one wants to buy your course. It’s not good enough. You don’t have the numbers. So and so has a better course than you, why would anyone buy yours?” These were just some of the thoughts that would rush through my mind multiple times a day. These thoughts were like needle pricks to my mind keeping me constantly stuck in fear and doubt which then made me take fear based action and obsessively tweak the offer and add random things to it to make it more appealing. But no matter what I did, it was never good enough in my mind. When I finally learned and understood that the experience of a launch begins and ends in the mind and you can choose what experience you want to have at any moment, that’s when things changed for good. It begins with your self-talk. If you’ve been telling yourself some fearful shit like it’s not working or you’ll be disappointed again or no one ever wants to buy, it’s time to flip the script and talk of how it gets to be, how you want it to be and what it looks like now that launching, selling and marketing is easy, joyful and deeply sustaining! Use these mantras to help you begin your new story. Repeat them out loud and often, talk a new experience into your business. It will literally change everything. Something I learned very quickly on my business jo Something I learned very quickly on my business journey was that if you want to work with fully aligned soulmate customers and clients, you also have to do the work to be a match for them. Because these high-level clients know exactly what they want, they don’t make decisions frivolously. When they pull out their credit cards they are doing so to invest further in who they choose to be and what they choose to have and they expect an experience that matches that. These are incredible people to work with, they LOVE to pay the leader who does the work to stay in her magnetic soul-led frequency and they will show up and do what needs to be done because their vision for their life pulls them forward. Now, I can already feel some of you starting to shrink, self-analyze and compare yourself against this model and decide you’ve come up short. That’s the point of this post gorgeous! No one is born a leader, they become one when they decide to be one by doing the work, looking at their fears and self-imposed limitations and shifting it all, learning to listen to soul, trust their inner compass and lead from their heart, developing clean energy about receiving money, launching their offers, selling their services, being seen and anything else that someone who hides from leadership wouldn’t do. Let me be clear, leadership isn’t only being loud and flashy, it can be quiet and refined too. But I’ll talk more about that later this week.. When you claim yourself expansive, potent and attractive, other people (namely your soulmate customers and clients) will see you in those ways too. They always see you in the way that you present and embody. This never switches off, you’re always emanating a “vibe” about you, and you’re always attracting and magnetizing from that place. But so often, we don’t show up in our content, offers, marketing, selling and leadership in the ways that we truly desire, and so our energy about it all becomes wobbly which then creates wobbly results. One of the things I see when people try to step into their soul-led magnetism in business is that they wait until they have the results - the launch results, the income results, the follower results, the client results - to feel magnetic, attractive, worthy and of value. But time and experience has shown us that those external results are fleeting, momentary and last for a moment, and when the excitement fades you’re left feeling empty and so you feel compelled to create more results to feel magnetic, attractive, worthy and of value again. Can you see how this can easily become an unhealthy pattern? It’s going about it back to front. Because the only truth is that everything you desire begins within you. All your power, value, magnetism is held within you. And you can access this place within in an instant. It’s time to bring it back to you and claim your position as a soul-led, embodied, magnetic (business) woman. And when you’re radiating that expansive, potent, attractive, high-level energy, the clients, customers, money, audience, opportunities and ‘results’ come naturally, swiftly & easily to you.
