1. Simplify to Amplify
The simpler you keep things in your business, the faster you grow. And my favourite part about simplifying is that it allows you to go DEEP with what you’re teaching because you’re not trying to do everything and be everywhere. I’m able to focus on what I really enjoy.
2. Show up Every Day
Every day in some way SHOW UP for your people. And I don’t mean write a 10,000 word blog post or produce a Hollywood equivalent video for your youtube channel. It can be as simple as a quote on Facebook, a motivating message to your email list or a simple tip on Instagram but every day, show your audience you’re there and you’re thinking about them. Yes, even if it’s a repurposed post!
3. Share Your Offers Every Day
I know it’s scary to even fathom the concept of selling every day, but it honestly doesn’t have be that big an ordeal. If I’ve learned anything in business it’s that it will feel big and scary for a moment and then it will be just an every day thing you now can’t even believe you got weird and awkward about. 4. Do What’s Fun For You And Outsource The Rest
Seriously, if you’re not having fun in your business it’s not worth it. Of course there will be times when it’s a bit more challenging or tedious but if you’re not waking up every day and in some way excited about getting to work (even if you’re not excited about the tasks you have to do) then it’s not gonna be sustainable for your sanity or your creativity. And of course, outsource or automate. Paying for assistance doesn’t actually cost that much when you realize how much more time you have to dedicate to the things that really matter and that you love. *coughsalesandcontentcough*
5. Stop Listening to People Who Don’t Have What You Want or Do What You Do
Seriously STOP. I guarantee no one in your immediate circle (fam and friends) do what you dare to do or have what you want, so why would you listen to people who don’t support you like that? Of course they’re allowed to care, but they can still do that in silence.
6. Develop Your Mindset, ESPECIALLY Around Money
Mindset work is imperative to help you acclimate to new levels of your business, money and life. Without it, you run the risk of continuously sabotaging yourself because your mindset hasn’t grown with the skills you’ve learned and action you’ve taken. It’s kind of like only working out your left bicep and never your right. It’s got to be a priority to look at your BS and shift the limiting stories you tell yourself about money, your business, the world and yourself.
7. Go to Thailand for Two Weeks Just to Stuff Your Face
I’m actually serious. Allowing yourself to enjoy your life, relax and eat ALL THE FOOD can and will make you more money. Why? You are the star of your business. Therefore you need to make sure you are WELL nourished and relaxed so that you can give FULLY to your people. When you give fully from a place of being well rested and recharged, your people feel it and they respond to it through investing their attention, enjoyment and in most cases, their dollars, in you and your business. It doesn’t have to be Thailand but it has to be somewhere you go to unwind and chill.
